Welcome to Cedar County Library

Cedar County Library two branches: the Geneva Sharp Library/Branch  in Stockton, MO and the John D. Smith Library/El Dorado Springs Branch in El Dorado Springs, MO.  It has best sellers, local genealogy, fax services, copiers, public access computers, and Wi-Fi.

CLOSING:  The Library will be closed December 24 for staff training and December 26 for Christmas.

FOOD FOR FINES:    The library will be collecting  one item of non-perishable food for each dollar in fines from November 11 to December 16.  The food will benefit the local food pantries.  Please no out of date or opened food.  Paper goods and pet food are welcomed.

STORYTIME AT EL DORADO SPRINGS: Miss Donna will have storytime on Friday, December 9,  at 10 am.

STORYTIME AT STOCKTON: Miss Rebecca will be taking a break for the holidays.  She will continue storytime after the first of the year.

FISHING POLES AND TACKLE BOXES:  In cooperation with the Missouri Department of Conservation, the Stockton Branch has fishing poles and tackle boxes to check out like any other library material. We have taken three fishing poles and three tackle boxes to the El Dorado Springs Branch for checkout.


HiSET CLASSES : The HiSet classes are in session for the fall.  The classes are 9:30-12:30 every Wednesday at the Stockton Branch.
